About the author
Lola Workman is a trained commercial cook who has made diet cookery a specialist hobby. Her introduction to gluten-free cookery came in 1980 when her daughter developed an intolerance to wheat. Lola's background as a commercially trained cook was challenged by this situation and she had to develop a whole new tasty menu for her family.
She found the change in cooking style and ingredients a very difficult situation to master, but she did, and went on to develop many new innovative tasty recipes. Lola has been working with Wheat Free and Gluten Free cookery for more than twenty years, and teaching it for over ten years.
