The way we cook and the way we eat say something deeply personal about who we are'.
If you ask Marion Grasby what her favourite food is, she'll list at least 10 things. Marion loves food. And she loves talking about it. During the 2010 MasterChef series, Marion wowed Australia with her incredible cooking talent, her assured palate and her sunny personality and warmth.
Here in Marion's first cookbook, she shares more than 80 of her favourite dishes, peppered with entertaining stories, family memories and incredible photography of her travels throughout Australia and Thailand.
Marion's food is inspired by the places she's been and the people she's met along the way. A fascinating mix of Thai, French, Italian, Middle Eastern ... and firmly Australian, these are recipes for the hungry home cook; food to make every night of the week, for dinner parties and for lazy afternoons at home.

About the author
Marion Grasby is a little bit Thai (courtesy of her Mum) and a little bit Australian (courtesy of her Dad). Her love of food and travel were ingrained at an early age as her globetrotting parents lived and travelled in Papua New Guinea, Thailand and Australia. Marion completed bachelor degrees in Law and Journalism, and straight after university she was snapped up by the ABC.
In 2008 Marion left her journalism career and went back to university to study for a Masters of Gastronomy, and in 2010 she competed in the second series of MasterChef. Marion now has a monthly food column in MasterChef Magazine and happily divides the rest of her time between television appearances, cooking demonstrations, private catering and her Marion's Kitchen food range which was released to stores in February 2011.
